Enjoy Your Candle Safely
These few simple instructions and safety precautions will ensure you get the best from your candle during each burn.
Burning Instructions: Remove all packaging. Trim wick to 5mm before lighting. Burn for 2-4 hours at a time, ensure the melt pool reaches the edge of the candle container before extinguishing, this will prevent the tunnelling effect and is especially important during the first burn. Always place, and burn your candle on a level heat resistant surface. Do not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours. Keep your candle free from any foreign material, this includes wick trimmings and matches.
Extinguishing your candle: We advise using a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle. Blowing out your candle is not recommended as the liquid wax may splatter and your wick may continue to glow and emit a small amount of smoke – which is perfectly natural. Once your candle is extinguished, allow the wax to solidify and cool completely before touching or moving.
Diffusers
Enjoy Your Reed Diffuser Safely
Reed Diffusers are a great way to keep any indoor area of your home smelling fresh.
How they work: The reeds continuously release a beautiful fragrance throughout the area where they are placed. Simply turn the reeds once a week to release a new wave of fragrance. Use gloves when handling the reeds.
Directions of use: Remove cap and/or stopper, replace the cap (if supplied, some of our diffusers only have a stopper) and insert the reeds. After 1 hour wear gloves and flip the reeds to saturate the other end of the reeds. If you like a stronger fragrance, use all the reeds provided, for a lighter aroma use fewer reeds. Flip the reeds weekly.
